The Centre of Attention is delighted to invite you to the London launch and screening of the Centre of Attention Magazine (Nº2, the video issue) on Wednesday 27 February, 10 am to 6 pm at the Green Room, private screening room on 13 Bateman Street in Soho, London. Screening is throughout the day. Seating is limited.

Through this annual publication, the Centre of Attention continues to probe the traditional space of the gallery and current presentations of contemporary visual art: this London screening follows shows earlier this year at Galapagos (Williamsburg, NY) and Kunstlerhaus Bethanien (Kreutzberg, Berlin). But the exhibition can also happen in your own home: the 2-video edition is published in 50 limited edition copies for sale. Tate Britain and several universities have already purchased a copy.

The Magazine presents a survey of the past 2 years with works, words and images from 23 artists who have shown at the Centre of Attention including Oreet Ashery, Franko B, Carlos Bayala, Mel Brimfield, Luke Caulfield, Claire Heathcote, Katharina Heilein, Eric Heist, Sebastian Hempel, Jasper Joffe, Wawa Kosugi, Josie McCoy, Shaheen Merali, Gary O'Dwyer, Genesis P-Orridge, Catherine Rive, Carly Rogers, June Sira, Leon Steele, George Toth, Markus Vater, Emily Wardill, Liu Zheng.
