			Since 1999, the Centre of Attention has been showing in a variety of spaces throughout London, Europe and the US. It now returns to its roots in East London for this one-off screening of artists' film and video at the last cinema in Hackney. Curated by Pierre Coinde and Gary O'Dwyer from an open submission and selection, it gives you the chance to familiarise your self with the best in contemporary art practice. Both local and global, these works challenge aesthetic complacency whilst delineating humanity's flight from reality.
