The Black Hair and Beauty Show

Eileen Perrier studied photography at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design and at the Royal College of Art where she graduated in 2000.

This is her first solo show. She has exhibited at the John Kobal Photographic Portrait Awards at the National Portrait Gallery (1996, 1997, 1999), the Shoreditch Biennale and has had a solo show at the Pump House Gallery in Battersea Park (2001).

She has contributed to several magazines including Revue Noire and Creative Camera. She received the National Magazine Company Award and the Egg Award, both in 1999.

The Black Hair and Beauty Show was covered by BBC London Live, the Big Issue, the Voice Newspaper and the East London Advertiser.
