Dream Team Art Gamble GREAT ART GIVEAWAY! There is still time to register in our Centre-Sational Dream Team Competition The Art Gamble gives you an opportunity to get a piece of the Brit Art Action!! Become the manager of an Artist Dream Team. With great Art Prize give-aways you¹d be a fool not to enter. Register your team by MIDDAY today and you will start scoring right away! After this there are just THREE more weeks left to take advantage of the Art Gamble. While the shows etc you missed do NOT count to your teams score, you have the chance to study form, consider long-term regulars and avoid any long-term casualties you could end up with a more settled team. The WINNER will receive a fabulous piece of Art from the famous permanent collection at the CENTRE OF ATTENTION gallery. These are the rules for picking your Dream Team The season goes on from when you enter until July 31st 2003 Each Team has eleven players All the artists must be born or resident in the British Isles You may have one Turner Prize winner in your team and three ex-Turner prize nominees. You may have only one current nominee. One artist must be over seventy, three over fifty, four between thirty and forty and three under thirty. Artists can be of either sex. You must have one Print artist, four Sculptors, three or four Installation artists and two or three Painters depending on whether you play a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 formation. SCORING
PENALTIES
All teams must be emailed to dreamteam@thecentreofattention.org by September30th 2002. It is up to each contestant to send in all details of shows and reviews etc that win points. Similarly you can send in reports of actions that cause points to be deducted from other teams. False claims will be penalised with a twenty point deduction from their teams¹ score. All teams, their scores and their managers will be viewable on the CENTRE OF ATTENTION website. All decisions as to categories of players, galleries, reviews etc remain with the judges. Galleries are categorised according to the CENTRE OF ATTENTION gallery classification system. The judges¹ decision is final. |
