SUTTON SCARSDALE HALL PAVILION OF POSTCONTEMPORARY CURATING
Is it one living thing
That has become divided within itself?
Are these two who have chosen each other,
So that we know them as one?
"Gingko biloba", Westöstlicher Diwan, J.W. von Goethe, 1815
'Themroc', Claude Faraldo, 1973
For the conservation of Sutton
Scarsdale Hall, the existing Structure
is completely sealed with fiberglass
armoured artificial amber resin.
The required rooms of the Pavilion of
postcontemporary curating are cutted
out by demand and manual
operation. This creates an emergent
and long-lasting process resulting in
archetypical spatial structure.
The expected construction costs will
be approximately about 17 million
Pounds.
