Artist and
designer: From 1966, active in Fluxus, the international experimental
group for art, design, architecture, and music. Work represented in major
museums and galleries around the world, including the Museum of Modern
Art, the Tate Gallery, Hood Museum of Art, the Guggenheim Museum, Stadtsgalerie
Stuttgart, and others. Work exhibited in many group exhibitions, including
the Biennale of Venice, the Royal Academy of Art in London, Museum Ludwig
in Cologne, and the Whitney Museum in New York. Personal details: Born
September 19, 1949, New London, Connecticut, USA. Married to Ditte Mauritzon
Friedman. Lives in Southern Sweden, across the Oresund Bridge from Copenhagen.
